Sarah Lower is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with experience in community mental health, educational mental health support, parent coaching, and supporting individuals and families with diverse developmental needs and differing abilities. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Biola University and Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. Sarah has extensive experience working with children and adolescents, including neurodivergent youth, while also supporting adults, parents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and Autism, as well as relationship concerns, and life transitions. Sarah is also passionate about facilitating therapeutic support groups and has led groups focused on emotional regulation, mindfulness, creative expression, and interpersonal connection, including Clinical Tabletop Role-Playing.

Sarah utilizes cognitive, dialectical, and person-centered therapeutic approaches within a collaborative, strengths-based,  framework. Drawing from her background in the arts, she enjoys incorporating creativity, expressive arts, mindfulness, play, and experiential activities when they are meaningful to the client. Sarah values creating a warm, collaborative, and authentic therapeutic environment. She approaches each client with curiosity and respect for their individual experiences, strengths, identities, and goals. Sarah believes therapy is most meaningful when clients feel genuinely heard and are active participants in the process of understanding themselves, navigating challenges, and creating meaningful change.

Born and raised in Southern California, Sarah enjoys spending time in nature, anything DIY, “thrifting”, live music and trying local restaurants. She values curiosity, meaningful connection, and finding opportunities for creativity and joy in everyday life
