As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Laurel draws on relational, attachment-based, somatic, and trauma-informed practices to create a space where you can feel grounded enough to explore life’s challenges. Together, you and she will move at a pace that honors your unique identity and lived experience. Her hope is that within this work, you don’t have to navigate things alone and can begin to access more steadiness, clarity, and possibility.

Laurel believes in the healing potential of presence, empathy, and authenticity. Her work is relational, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, integrating approaches such as EMDR, somatic and attachment-based practices, grief work, and expressive modalities. Rather than focusing on surface fixes, together you’ll slow down, building awareness that supports meaningful, embodied, lasting change. The therapeutic relationship becomes a place to feel understood, deepen connection, and move toward what matters most to you.

Laurel works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, caregiver stress, relational challenges, and life transitions. Her experience in both private group practice and community-based settings, including palliative and hospice care, has shaped her deep respect for diverse identities and stories. She aims to support clients in finding their way forward with greater connection, resilience, and empowerment.

Laurel earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University, with dual emphases in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. Her EMDR, AEDP, somatic- and mindfulness-based training focused on integrating relational development and the use of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and compassionate care. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, which informs her understanding of systems, complexity, and the broader contexts that shape our lives.

When away from the therapeutic space, Laurel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, discovering new coffee shops, reading, baking, hiking, finding killer travel deals to destinations near and far, attending live music and open mics, learning all the things, and dipping her toes in the ocean any chance she can get.
