Kaylea Philobos, M.S., NBC-HWC, YT-300
                 Health Promotion and Wellness Director

Kaylea Philobos is our Health Promotion and Wellness Director who has experience collaborating with allied health professionals focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and health promotion. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology in 2017 from the University of South Carolina, where she also played Division I softball. Next, she completed her master’s degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology while at California Baptist University in 2020.

She conducted research in obesity, exercise tolerance, and cardiac rehab. She has a strong background in public health and has worked with many populations including those with limited mobility, with obesity, cognitive impairment, and at-risk youth populations.

Kaylea is driven by her desire to serve others, assisting them in setting realistic goals, achieving personal wellness, and implementing positive health habits. She is a registered yoga instructor, meditation, and mindfulness teacher, and recently a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). You can work with her to focus on various aspects of your physical and mental health to complement your strengths, increase self-effectiveness, and develop new coping habits for long-term management.  â€‹

 

Kaylea’s hobbies include coaching softball, playing tennis, cooking, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
